Lifeline Project is a national charity dedicated to improving the lives of individuals, families and communities affected by drugs and alcohol. We build real and sustained change through responsive local services.

 

Lifeline delivers forward looking and aspirational Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services (DARS) across the country. To support this we are seeking a talented, experienced and passionate Lead Nurse to provide clinical leadership and support to our new, dynamic recovery services, supporting prisoners through their recovery journey.

To be successful in this role, you will:

 

  • Have clinical management experience regards staff, services and contracts.
  • Have a developed understanding of the clinical delivery of recovery services
  • Be a registered nurse RMN or RGN
  • Have registration as an NMP on the appropriate professional register (Desirable – willing to work towards)
  • Have a minimum of RCGP Level 1 in substance misuse (or level 2 or equivalent, RCGP alcohol level 1 or equivalent desirable).
  • Be able to deliver clinics: undertaking assessments, assessing prescribing needs and agreeing and reviewing recovery plans and delivering brief recovery-focused interventions.
