X 2 Alcohol Practitioner Positions

Until 31st March 2017 subject to funding

 

We are looking to recruit 2 committed; quality focused and self-motivated full time Alcohol Practitioners to work within Lifeline Bradford’s Alcohol Services. The successful candidates will be keen to achieve and provide a high standard of delivery. The Alcohol Practitioners will focus on development of one to one sessions, joint delivery of projects and innovative service delivery to maximise recovery focused outcomes. They will work closely with the Team Leader, but will be able to demonstrate a high level of ability to use their own initiative and resources.

 

Applicants will have:

  • Experience of working directly with drug and/or alcohol users
  • Experience of liaising and working in partnership with external agencies
  • Knowledge and understanding of treatment options available to alcohol misusers
  • Knowledge of models of recovery
  • Experience of communicating effectively with a wide range of people
  • Ability to engage and empower vulnerable service users
  • The ability to think creatively and use a problem solving approach
  • Ability to work co-operatively as part of a team
