The Board Members


Sheila A Lee
Chair

Sheila Lee is a lecturer and teacher trainer in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and has worked with immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers to the UK for many years. She is also an Examiner and Moderator for Trinity College London. After serving as a member of the Board of Lifeline for ten years she was elected Chair in June 2004.


Davy Iredale

Davy Iredale lives in Chorlton in Manchester. He works for Commitment in Communities and has worked alongside Lifeline in various roles over the past 16 years. Previously he was Chair of DPAS, the Home Office Drugs Prevention Unit for several years in the early 90s. Davy became a Trustee of Lifeline in 2005.

 


John Bayne

John Bayne is a 58 years old and has been a full time GP in Bridlington for the past 31 years. Over that time he has been involved in committee work for a number of local charities. He joined the Board of Lifeline in 2000 to add a Medical component to the skill mix of the Board.


Jon Snape

Jon Snape lives in Manchester. He works for the Manchester Methodist Housing Group, managing supported housing projects for people with a variety of needs including alcohol and drugs misuse. He also currently manages the Heavy Drinkers Programme in Rusholme. Jon became a Trustee of Lifeline in 2005.


Laura Keiher

Laura Keiher lives in Stoke on Trent. She is a qualified social worker with experience of dealing with service users in an advocacy role and of working in the field of adult sexual health. She currently works for the Staffordshire Drug Action Team. Laura became a Trustee of Lifeline in 2005.


Jocelyn Jean-pierre

Jocelyn Jean-Pierre is a Local Government Officer; a long-standing Board and Committee Member of a Regional Housing Association and Registered Social Landlord. She is also a Member of the West Yorkshire District Synod of the Methodist Church.


David Mackintosh

David Mackintosh lives in Upminster, Essex. He currently runs the London Drugs Policy Forum, working with a wide range of agencies seeking to limit the harm caused by substance misuse. He worked in the past for the UK Anti-Drugs Co-ordination unit with special responsibility for treatment and young people’s issues. David became a Trustee of Lifeline in 2005.
